My wife wishes she was conditioned to coming 2nd, but she has learnt to accept such things in relationship. She is well aware that my marriage to football well exceeds our own union.

Thing is, "...for better or worse..." really only does relate to your football club, doesn't it? For if the current Mrs.CP gave you enough grief, you'd just find another one....but look at what Norwood has done to you over the years and you're still with her.
