Going to go Mackie i think.

I went Mackie with my Petrenko upgrade. BUT a tip I got from another site to consider is MacDonald from Brisbane. Started at $505K now $390K due to 3 average scores in a row.

I don't know enough about him and didn't like his recent scores so didn't go there. But I noticed he scored 135 round 1 and seems to be capable of higher scores than Mackie, whereas Mackie seems to score lower but be more consistent. Geelong = win most of time = lots of SC points for their players was my theory in the end!

The other one in the price range I looked at was McPhee of Essendon.

I had McDonald last year and he was one of my guns. He has been quite ordinary this year (except for round 1). Josh Drummond has been playing the role McDonald played last year, so he isn't getting the free reign he had last year, which is restricting him from getting those easy possessions. One to look at in a couple of weeks when he gets back, is Des Headland. He's not worth much at all and will get possessions for sure.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep

No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Bit of a roll of the dice. I think Hill is getting better, had a good game last week and could be buoyed by the Derby, which is why I selected him on the field ahead of Petrenko (who probably won't have as much game time as Hill).

I say go Rance. The Derbies are full on and Hill is built like a stick insect.

I'd be staying away from McDonald that's for sure. Like you said Drummond has taken that role and that's why his price is dropping. You'd be better off with Ryder IMO.

Hille out injured and I was going to make some money on Paul Johnson with a low break even at the start of the year.

But he couldn't do it. I've lost money on Johnson, Hille out for the season, picked up Meesen as an EMG, as well as Jesse White.

My four rucks are Meesen, Mumford, White and Johnson. It sucks balls.

Meesen and Mumford, according to average, are my best two ruckmen.

Maybe as a SC player but not as a footballer though. He's ahead of West and developing all the time.

Fair go, Nostradamus couldn't have predicted that weedy Hill would rack up 138 points. Although I am reading that book again just in case he did......
