This week's clash between Woolballs and CFC looks to be a hum dinger, not only .01% separates us on the table both sides look to be in similar boats despite being ravaged by the bye round, I don't know whether to go for broke with some trades or just let it play out and see how it rolls for the weekend.

Just let it play out LM, no point burning trades at this stage of the Season. :D

I'm going to lose with three more players, not great having Hogan pull out. I'm in deep poo poo now.

While the bye weeks have been providing a few eye brow raising results in other grades in Hogg Division IV it was business as usual. Seven of the top eight won their matches this weekend with the most important result being the Summer of George getting over Knuckeys Killers by nearly a hundred points. While last week was good for the Knucks this week was the exact opposite as the top side smacked them out of the top four and all the way down to seventh on the ladder. It was a good score for Knuckey though so I don't think they'll be missing the finals action.

The PowerFailure might have been the go at the MCG on the weekend but in Divvy IV it didn't happen as they kept the Roosters out of the top eight with a solid win. The Woolballs also defended their turf as they spanked Chelsea so hard they won't be able to sit down all week. Robsquad had to fight harder than expected to defeat lowly Hotshots so rd can expect a call from Chris Scott soon to work out how he did it.

Of all of the bottom teams it was business as usual despite a few competitive scores but you can excuse HereComesTheSuns....ok, I'll say it...HereComesHereComesTheSuns. Two wins on the trot now and back in business.

I was already running skint and then Hogan was dropped, a few didn't get a gig and the final nail was 7 below 70 scores including Captain Gray,

Same here! Also had poor internet overseas and couldn't make necessary interchanges; had 170 points on the bench and lost by 34.

With the top three sides getting the job done on the weekend a couple of other top eight sides suffered costly losses to drop behind the top four. The Raging Hooligans had their credentials tested by the mighty Warriors and despite carding a respectable 1661 they still got flogged by nearly two hundred points. The news wasn't any better for PowerFailure who couldn't get to his side and the kid DA HEAT proved to be the beneficiary as he got home by a mere 34 points.

The teams who made out like Bandits due to these results where Knuckeys who always seems to bounce back against mediocre opposition and Double Hogg Premier RustyCage who snuck into the top four as a result of the Hooligan's loss. Perhaps the biggest story in recent weeks is the emergence of HereComesTheSuns who made it four wins on the trot and are feasting on a soft part of the draw.

Robsquad's best season in the Hogg continued with a win over Loose Husseys who are longing to drop into the more comfortable surrounds of the lowest Hogg Division where they flourished last season. At the arse end of the ladder Heater's Hotshots won the division cripple fight by one hundred points. Nabootique's win over wooly was important as it keeps the balls out of the top eight (and away from Adam Goodes' clutches) while the Baron moves further away from the relegation zone.

18 big bangers 2 12 25173 27363 92.00 8

In the last two weeks the main change at the top is that DA HEAT has lost their way and their top four spot has been snaffled by KnuckeysKillers. Last year Woolballs looked set to make a dramatic eleventh hour entry into the top eight but woolly appears to have his timing a sorted a bit better this year and they are now in the top eight. Chelsea are still hovering but can't quite seem to crack into the eight.

The teams in red are in the relegation zone and it's hard to make a case for any of them staying up in Division IV next season. At the top end the best bet appears to be a Georgie vs. Wadey Grand Final with Knucks and the RustyCage going up into Divvy III next year.

The Roosters are crowing this week after knocking over The Summer of George in a high scoring boilover. There were no such worries for Wadey as they smashed Chelsea while Nabootique, Knuckeys, Woolballs and Robsquad all joined in the scoring bonanza that was Round 15 of SuperCoach. Other winners who didn't really rack up the scores included an inform RustyCage as well as Raging Hooligans and Venomous Geckoes who scored important wins against teams similarly placed on the ladder.

Power Failure and DA HEAT are looking a bit wobbly with Roosters and Robsquad in top form and with hopes of snaffling a spot in the eight. All is not lost for Chelsea, Nabootique and the Geckoes but they'll need to find some consistency in order to sneak into the eight.

Meanwhile, the bottom four has already been decided and the Husseys, Hotshot, Hollands Cans and the bangers will all be going down to Division V next season.

In the most lopsided league in the Hogg the two horses in this race continued to bolt away from the field with the winning post in sight. Perhaps the only teams that might be able to challenge them next month aren't currently in the eight. Chelsea and Roosters both posted impressive totals to stay in the hunt and both sides appear to be a more viable candidate for promotion than woolballs, PowerFailure and DA HEAT.

The season is over for Venomous Geckoes and HereComesTheSuns after they were both beaten and Robsquad's narrow loss to PowerFailure has possibly doomed them to miss the finals as well. Baron Greenback's Nabootique has finished the season strongly but seeing as they play the mighty Summer of George next week it's probably curtains for them.

Big bangers got off the bottom of the ladder after they won a tightly contested match against Hollands Red Cans who are now looking at the spoon. The winner of the Division IV CBF award goes to Loose Husseys who carded a 1511 to lose to runner up in the same award, RustyCage.

In the last round DA HEAT is up against Venomous Geckoes which could go either way. PowerFailure are up against big bangers so you'd have to favour the Power in that one. Woolballs missed out at the final hurdle last year and they have a tricky fixture against KnuckeysKillers in the last round. Knuckeys stunk up the place this week so another toss of the coin job in that match.

For the teams that have a chance to get back in I reckon the Roosters on current form can take out Joker's Raging Hooligans and Chelsea will smash Hollands Red Cans so those teams from 6-8 are going to have the heat put on them this week.

Lightning may have struck twice in the same place as far as woolballs and Chelsea FC goes. IIRC, Woolballs looked set to make the Divvy V finals last season only for Chelsea to snaffle their place in the last round. Well, strike me pink as KG would say, it's happened again. Chelsea was made to work hard by the bottom team Hollands Red Cans but he got the W and it was left to woolballs to curse again as they were well beaten by Knuckeys.

In this two horse race the top two finished a massive four games clear as the finals begin. RustyCage won two Hogg Premierships last year but I wouldn't be placing your money on him winning this flag. The premiership window for the Cage appears to be slammed shut after Wadey's Warriors romped to a huge victory. Who does the Cage play in this weekend's final? Yep, Wadey's Warriors.

Another team to benefit from this weekend's results is DA HEAT who won their first match in several weeks just in time to deny Roosters and Robquad who got amongst the points in the last round. It must be especially galling to pompy that the Roosters are watching on as the Venomous Geckoes ran up the white flag with a pathetic 1686 that handed DA HEAT their finals place on a platter.

The bottom four were marked for relegation some time ago but all of those sides bar Loose Husseys have been scoring much better lately and they'll be finalists in Hogg V next season.
