I played all year with the aim of getting promoted to div I and come the prelim final I get drunk at a work luncheon on a Friday afternoon and forget to make my trades. Had Hayes as captain who was already out and didn't have a mid emergency picked, hurts when shuey played well. A bit of a waste with a couple trades left and 123k in the bank but benji has hit form at the right time and should go well in div I next year.

Bad luck Pat! Nothing like getting in early for a Mad Monday eh? If you feel a bit pissed off about it I can cheer you up. I've lost about seven grand finals in the Hogg and this weekend I'm about to add another three to the collection.

Don't worry REB - you're like the early 90's Blighty, one day you'll come good and snag a couple.

Might have to change clubs though.......

Salad fingers will be back fitter and stronger next year. I am 11th overall so that's not a bad effort in my first year in hogg, second in supercoach.

That's hilarious Pat. I did a similar thing in the second week of the finals - went out for a couple of drinks after work on the Thursday evening and ended up being dropped off home at about midnight pissed off my nut. I logged on and checked the team ins and outs and selected my Supercoach team. When I looked at it on Friday night I thought WTF my team was all over the place. But fortune smiled upon me and I ended up getting my best score for the season and beat my more fancied opponent to make the prelim! :D

However I didn't learn my lesson and picked my prelim team whilst sober and got thrashed. :(
