good thing I have Paul to make up for Lakes shower score.

it still gets me how so many people have picked him. He had one good year and since then he has been injured and stunk it up. Also he doesn't have the support down back to go kick chasing he has done previously!

I ended up going for Hargrave instead but only because Robbie Gray was made at the Shaun Higgins factory. Might prove to be a blessing in disguise. He returned a horrible DT number.

Hopefully Goddard Fisher and Riewoldt can score 120 each and bring me a respectable score.

Pretty happy with my Round 1. A few hits and misses, particularly with my rookies, but nothing that can't be ironed out in time for Round 3...

Pretty happy with my side, i went the 4 rookie ruckment and got 88 from Giles and 71 from Redden.

Had 7 blokes in my midfield score over a 100 points.

I took the gamble on Nick Reiwoldt and happy with the 105 he put out in a losing side. He could turn out to be a gold investment.

Only worry at this early stage is Dustin Marin (how much midfield time will he get), Porplyzia and whether Darren Pfieffer will break into the power line up.

I was disappointed with my team, took the gamble on Lake and failed, in the end he was always going to struggle when WCE had Cox/Nic Nat, Kennedy and Q up forward, to have to counteract such height with only Markovic to assist him. He'll be better for it, Broughton let me down and my rookies could've done a bit more.

I have PS in Supercoach which I do not take seriously. Is a joke he only scored 55 when the turnover king Ebert scored double that.

Doesn't SC earn more points for effective possessions?

I made a big blunder with Patty Ryder, had him pencilled in all pre-season til crunch time, I went with Luenberger instead, I was always going to pick Kreuzer with Giles and Redden as back ups.
Oh well, you win you lose.

Ryder had a good round but he'll stink it up yet this year and you'll find yourself happy with your decision.

Ebert laid 11 tackles which would of lifted his score.

I was thinking about Ryder too but you only get some many chances of having your breakout year.

Luenberger will come good, Jamar is not a bad ruckman at all.

I'll be giving him at least the first 3 weeks to prove himself. I'm backing that he'll come good and at least post an average of 80 odd which will earn some coin in prep for an upgrade down the track.

He's allright Squiddy. Problem is he has already played his bunny side and the matches haven't started yet.

I am worried for you with Leuenberger REB...he has a dodgy heel so is restricted in his movements. Hudson could be the real steal in the ruck up there.

You got the wrong end of the stick there Klinger. I went with Cox and McIntosh.
