At the other end of the table, Wonder Elephants has jumped a spot after scoring 2,260 but for another jump will need to close an almost 1,000pt deficit to whufc, as stated above though anything can happen in this game. whufc is 277pts behind Ankles United and it does appear as though Ankles United is hitting a purple patch of form so will be very hard to catch. Goonies showed his score of 2,424 last week was no fluke with a mammoth 2,512 this week to take the podium for the 3rd highest score of HOGG IV. Goonies is doing himself no harm with his consistent form and if he continues then relegation will be out of the question.
Spewing cossi that you neglected to mention that TEAM_FISH scored it's highest ever Supercoach score last weekend. [-X

ROUND 19
The highest score in SC for the week was 3,046 this week, that is the first time in SC history that the 3k mark has been broken! If you had Dean Cox as captain (well done TEAM_FISH) you would of been laughing with him posting a season high score of 213 after he dominated all over the ground against the Western Bulldogs.

The highest score this week in HOGG IV goes to 2nd placed Has Been with mammoth 2,708. Next in line was THE BLOODS with 2,645 and then the top of the table Honey Badgers rounds out the top 3 with 2,629.

Toomenny Beers lost 5th spot on the total points ladder to Trader who seems to be gaining a bit of momentum. It is fairly safe to say now that Toomenny Beers, Trader, Cossi's Carnts, WLF and Has Been will be fighting it out for 3 of the promotion spots. There will be 2 very unlucky coaches come the end of the season and i think trades will have a major impact on who will be promoted.

At the bottom end of the table Goonies continued his late charge and has now jumped above TEAM_FISH. However, TEAM_FISH and Ankles United have pretty much left the bottom 4 for dead and i cant see there being any change to the relgation zone from her on in with Ankles United 637pts clear of the drop zone.

ROUND 19 TOTAL POINTS LADDER
1. Honey Badgers 43,122
2. Has Been 42,387
3. WLF 42,145
4. Cossi's Carnts 42,050

5. Trader 41,593
6. Toomenny Beers 41,573
7. Bear Necessity 40,799
8. THE BLOODS 40,373
9. Killer Wombats! 40,134
10. Goonies 39,431
11. TEAM_FISH 39,398
12. Ankles United 39,284
13. whufc 38,647
14. Wonder Elephants 37,644
15. BloodnTars 37,337
16. Baron Greenbacks 35,919

League's average score per round is: 2,111
League ranking : 734 of 41059

ROUND 20 HEAD-TO-HEAD FIXTURE
Killer Wombats! vs Baron Greenbacks
Trader vs THE BLOODS
whufc vs Goonies
BloodnTars vs Wonder Elephants
Bear Necessity vs WLF
TEAM_FISH vs Toomenny Beers
Ankles United vs Honey Badgers
Cossi's Carnts vs Has Been

Western Bulldogs have the bye this week so most teams will be without Boyd, Higgins and Murphy. Should still see some good scores as the race for promotion hottens up!

ROUND 20
This weekend was a reality check for all coaches. Compared to recent scores around the 2,700 mark, the highest score of the round was 2,474 from THE BLOODS which assisted them in moving up 1 position on the ladder. Has Been took second spot with a respectable 2,391 while Goonies late flourish of consistency saw him round out the top 3 with a score of 2,346.

There were no other changes in the total points ladder this week and as we close in on the end of the season i dont think there will be any changes to the top 4 and bottom 4.

ROUND 20 TOTAL POINTS LADDER
1. Honey Badgers 45,343
2. Has Been 44,778
3. WLF 44,415
4. Cossi's Carnts 44,328

5. Trader 43,821
6. Toomenny Beers 43,710
7. THE BLOODS 42,847
8. Bear Necessity 42,738
9. Killer Wombats! 42,448
10. Goonies 41,777
11. TEAM_FISH 41,654
12. Ankles United 41,585
13. whufc 40,751
14. Wonder Elephants 39,697
15. BloodnTars 39,276
16. Baron Greenbacks 37,440

League's average score per round is: 2,114
League's ranking is: 789 of 41119

This weekend saw the end of the minor round and the introduction of the finals. I know there has not been much hype in my write ups about the top 8 and bottom 8 but with the recent news that the top 8 will be playing for a Champions League place in season 2012, there is actually something to play for other than a promotion to Division 3.

If you are not aware the 2 grand finalists this season will compete in the first ever Champions League tournament in 2012. From HOGG premier to Division VI the top 2 teams will qualify and the Premiers of the Divisions below will also get a guernsey.

FINALS WEEK 1

Top 8
1st Qualifying Final (Winner to 1st Preliminary Final, Loser to 1st Semi Final)
1. WLF
4. Trader
A huge game looms between top of the table WLF and 4th placed Trader. While Trader has had some decent scores this season i am tipping WLF due to consistency even though he will be without Drew Petrie this week. WLF by 75-100 points.

1st Elimination Final (Winner to the 1st Semi Final, Loser eliminated)
5. Cossi's Carnts
8. Bear Necessity
The first of the elimination finals will see Cossi's Carnts take on Bear Necessity. Both sides will be without benchman Cameron Pederson and while Cossi's Carnts has Brent Harvey on the bench, Bear Necessity will not have Brady Rawlings services in his defence but may welcome back Aaron Sandliands should he be ready to go. Too close to tip this one, ill say whoever is eliminated will be unlucky.

2nd Elimination Final (Winner to the 2nd Semi Final, Loser eliminated)
6. Toomenny Beers
7. THE BLOODS
The second elimination final will be an absolute belter. THE BLOODS have just come off a weekly high score of 2,474 while Toomenny Beers was defeated by TEAM_FISH. Both have a casualty this week with THE BLOODS having Brent Harvey and Toomenny Beers having Brady Rawlings. I am tipping THE BLOODS to have a little bit more fire power than Toomenny Beers and to advance to the 2nd Semi Final. THE BLOODS by 175-200 points

2nd Qualifying Final (Winner to 2nd Preliminary Final, Loser to 2nd Semi Final)
2. Has Been
3. Honey Badgers
By far the match of the round right here. The top 2 point getters for the minor round will battle it out for a week off. Honey Badgers has been very consistent all season which explains his domination at the top of the points table and Has Been, well it is written in his name, Has Been started the season off like a house on fire, was in the top 10 overall at one stage but has struggled to find that form consistently throughout the season. Both are missing 1 North Melbourne premium so it will be a very tight tussle. This one could go either way, the winner to get up by 50-75 points.

Bottom 8
1st Qualifying Final (Winner to 1st Preliminary Final, Loser to 1st Semi Final)
9. Killer Wombats!
12. whufc
Whilst only playing for pride at the bottom end of the table i think Killer Wombats! will stroll into the 1st Preliminary Final with ease. Killer Wombats! by 275-300 points

1st Elimination Final (Winner to the 1st Semi Final, Loser eliminated)
13. Ankles United
16. BloodnTars
With some above average scoring over the past few weeks from Ankles United i can't see Bloodntars getting anywhere near Ankles United. Ankles United by 300-325 points

2nd Elimination Final (Winner to the 2nd Semi Final, Loser eliminated)
14. TEAM_FISH
15. Baron Greenbacks
TEAM_FISH has hit a rich vein of form over the past few weeks. After knocking off Toomenny Beers last week would have to be confident his men can get the job done against bottom placed Baron Greenbacks. TEAM_FISH by 500+ points

2nd Qualifying Final (Winner to 2nd Preliminary Final, Loser to 2nd Semi Final)
10. Goonies
11. Wonder Elephants
My pick to take out the bottom 8 series is Goonies. Goonies decided to start coaching his side about halfway through the season and has shown that by moving out of the relegation zone and to safety with some very high scoring rounds. Goonies to advance the the 2nd Preliminary Final by 250-275 points.

North Melbourne has the bye this week, so teams with Brent Harvey, Drew Petrie or Brady Rawlings will need some bench back back up to get them through the 1st week of the finals!

Goodluck to all in the finals
