Well I don’t think Essendon’s fitness guys will be around next season look at all the soft tissue injuries! :shock:

All part of the plan apparantly.
James Hird was on AFL360 last week and said that although disappointed with the injuries its part of a long term strategy. Their strength and fitness was very ordinary when he took over and he reckons short term pain for long term gain, we are probably 2 years away from a serious flag tilt

Heard the experts on radio tonight mention that it is damaged really bad and it is liable to pop again at any stage.
If he would of had surgery he would have been back before finals if he does it again its season over


it will pop again and he will continue to play with it. He will see the year out now IMO

Out for 3 months now, damaged it again and requires surgery
