Dude that is rotten luck. Your favourite players sink you and you trade out a Cat and his replacement gets a donut while the Cat racks them up!

This league has been of a very high standard and two teams who were quite dominant last season are finding that out. ZedForce and Daisys Duds had a great year last year in what was a strong Division IV but they are currently at the wrong end of the ladder and not racking up the points early. ZedForce put in a shambolic 1976 but only lost by 10 as Duromine Dependent also struggled but got the points in the end. Daisys Duds also lost by 10 points to Brown Boys who haven't been one of the stronger performers in Division II over the last couple of seasons.

If you think it's a tough league this year, you'd be right. Division II is currently outranking the Premier League.

Had Swan vc nice start to the weekend.
Then Browny had Kennedy as C, even better , im home here cant possibly lose.
Sunday rolls around
I had traded out Selwood for Bontempelli on thursday , nice one!! Also traded out Miller for Vandenberg, who ever i had wouldve been emergency for the Bont, Miller outscores vandenberg by 15, theres the game there.
Browny has two of my favourite players, yep you guessed it Roughy and Hodgey who both had once a season scores on the same day.

Question for those up on the rules
When you name 2 emergencies in the same position and one of them is required it always used to be the lowest scoring of the 2 that counted, that appears to have changed to the highest scoring one now

Where there are 2 emergencies are selected in one position and only one of these is required, the lowest scoring emergency will be used.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

No mate I don't. I never play two emergencies on one line. Check out the scoring rules on the SuperCoach page. The site is a nightmare these days but you should be able to find the scoring table as long as you can find some Coke bottle glasses and a telescope.

Thats what i thought but Browny had Krakouer and Anderson both as Mid emerg and the 82 for Krakouer was counted not the 9 for Anderson

17 Duromine Dependent 1 2 5919 6251 94.69 4
18 Choppa's Standards 1 2 5791 6397 90.53 4

The Crack of Trust has snuck one game clear after three rounds after all of the other top sides fell over. There were a few surprising results in the third round but the ambush of Jims TigerRoos by Choppa's Standards surely ranks as the Hogg upset of the year to date. Choppa had set a very low standard all year and wasn't scoring enough points to worry Jims TigerRoos but in the end they worried them out of it as the TigerRoos stumbled to their first loss.

Divvy IV power teams ZedForce and DaisysDuds finally turned up with wins over the previously unbeaten Professor Crow and Greedy Guns and showed they are not yet a spent force in this division. Perennial Divvy II stragglers Brown Boys made it back to back wins to consolidate a top eight place and FOOTYLEDGENS got back in the top eight after getting the jump on a disappointing Moneybrawl.

So while the low scoring Greedy Guns are in the top 8 the number one team in the Hogg, Spud Factory FC have dropped to 14th spot on the ladder. Jays Jocks are scoring well too and they are in the relegation zone. One team who is having a horror year is Duromine Dependent who took all before them last season.

You could throw a blanket over all of the teams in Division II so far this year so early wins this season will prove vital.

17 Duromine Dependent 1 3 7987 8356 95.58 4
18 Choppa's Standards 1 3 7911 8547 92.56 4

After saying last week that this was a very close league, a few teams disproved that statement somewhat by recording wins over 200 points. Perhaps the most significant of these wins was DaisysDuds return to form with their solid (almost 200) win over Moneybrawl. The Duds are now in the top eight and are right in the hunt now. The Wigg Brothers haven't done much wrong so far this year and they powered home over the perennial preliminary finalists, Brown Boys. ;) Meanwhile, in the other big win, Professor Crow gave his fellow Crow from Denver a SuperCoach lesson.

Crack of Trust remained a game ahead of the pack but they were pushed all the way by Choppa's Standards who are now scoring quite well even though they remained anchored to the foot of the table. Jays Jocks couldn't pull themselves up over Hips Don't Lie and they are now exposed to the bottom reaches of the ladder ha ha. The Killer Wombats! join DaisysDuds in the top eight after talking themselves down all year. They had a solid win over Greedy Guns who didn't fire a shot.

Jims TigerRoos returned to form with a win over the FOOTYLEDGENS while 2014 guns Duromine Dependent and ZedForce continue to struggle in 2015.

17 Denver Crows 1 4 10110 10550 95.83 4
18 Duromine Dependent 1 4 10074 10553 95.46 4

The Crack of Trust have gone on their winning ways this week after seeing off a plucky FOOTYLEDGENS with a 21 point victory in Hogg Division II next week. This win enables the Crackers to have that vital one game buffer as the rest of this league dukes it out. The biggest win in terms of ladder position was the victory of Professor Crow over fellow top four rival Wigg Brothers. The Professor taught the Brothers a SuperCoach lesson with a comfortable win which means the Professor remains in with a sniff right behind the Crack.

Such Is Fyfe is hanging around the top four and it was the Killer Wombats! who were at the end of their rope as they tumbled out of the top eight with a 63 point loss. Hips Don't Lie and DaisysDuds clambered up the charts with another solid win with both sides putting the heat on in regards to snaffling a top four spot and possible promotion this season. Another team who appears to have lifted their standard is Choppa's Standards who won their second match in three weeks on the back of three solid scores. They've gone from relegation contenders to finals contenders in the space of three weeks.

Meanwhile, it is starting to get a bit desperate for former power teams Duromine Dependent, ZedForce and Jays Jocks who are all in the relegation zone after going very well in recent seasons. The scoring has dried up in particular for Duromine Dependent who must be wondering what they need to take in order to get back in the swing of things.

17 Greedy Guns 2 4 11758 12398 94.84 8
18 ZedForce 1 5 12446 12780 97.39 4

Division II got a bit tighter round the middle this week as a number of lower ranked teams secured important victories to stay in touch with the top eight. Duromine Dependent hauled themselves off the bottom of the ladder when they defeated an out of form FOOTYLEDGENS side that is struggling to score points this season. Scoring points was not a problem though for Denver Crows who flew high to record a thumping victory over Jims TigerRoos who slipped out of the top eight. Jays Jocks got that winning feeling as they easily dispensed with ZedForce who are now a game behind the pack and struggling for answers so far this year.

Choppa's Standards made it three wins in four matches and claimed their biggest scalp yet as they defeated top eight side DaisysDuds. Moneybrawl was another side to record a win over a top eight team and all of a sudden the top eight does not look quite so clear cut with teams like Spud Factory, DaisysDuds and Wigg Brothers all being defeated. Perhaps the most important win for the week was Brown Boys' dazzling romp over top four Professor Crow. Browny is looking good for a finals spot at this early stage but right now it is The Crack of Trust and Such is Fyfe that they are all chasing.

Think I pulled a massive clanger changing the captain from Robbie Gray to the Bont. 22 at half time has put a big dent in my chances of a win over Brown's Boys.

18 Greedy Guns 2 5 13656 14491 94.24 8

It seems no one can stop the Crack of Trust so far this season as battling Denver Crows became their seventh victim of the season. Other inform teams include Brown Boys, DaisysDuds and Choppa's Standards who made it four wins on the trot with a solid win over second ranked Such Is Fyfe. Despite their awesome recent form, there is still no room for Choppa in the top eight after their three match slumber that started the season.

Spud Factory, Wigg Brothers, Hips Don't Lie and FOOTYLEDGENS also got back on to the winners list as did ZedForce who were long overdue for a win which was delivered in some style. Jays Jocks have continued on their own Choppa like run but starting a further game back they can only boast a 10th ranking at this stage.

Former divvy II powerhouse Jims TigerRoos have hit the wall in recent weeks and early season frontrunner Professor Crow has joined them although they are still presently in the top eight. Greedy Guns is the new clubhouse leader for the spoon although Duromine Dependent have struggled all season. The Killer Wombats! are also going to ground and the heat is starting to be put on teams that are presently at 2 wins 5 losses.

The top six teams all won on the weekend in a league that did appear to be a very close one a few weeks ago. All of a sudden a 'ruling class' has emerged with the King Crack of Trust still undefeated after eight rounds in a remarkable effort. DaisysDuds racked up a massive percentage builder as Greedy Guns failed to fire a shot and several teams in the middle also made their move.

Wigg Brothers have continued on with their form slum with Spud Factory and Jays Jocks making their move with Jays Joys finally getting into the top eight after a sustained run of form. Choppa's charge was halted when the Standards failed to cash in on the scoring train this week as they went down heavily to Hips Don't Lie. Jims TigerRoos' losing streak went on another week and they are now unbelievably facing relegation worries after they went down to the inform Brown Boys.

Duromine Dependent and ZedForce were gun teams who haven't fired a shot this season but they got the scoreboard ticking over this weekend...but still lost. Duromine Dependent lost a vital match against Denver Crows, a fellow relegation contender. Greedy Guns have well and truly fallen off the pace and Killer Wombats! aren't faring much better. If Duromine and Zed can keep scoring this would put the pressure on FOOTYLEDGENS and Moneybrawl to avoid the drop.

If I could get my captain right I would be more competitive.
Tried Lachie Neale this week that didn't help.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

The Crack of Trust would have to smoke some heavy duty crack to miss the top four from here after they earned themselves a three game buffer at the top of the ladder after Round 9. If any team looked likely to challenge the Crackers it would seem to be Brown Boys who had set up their season with a platform of consistent matches. However, the Brown wheels fell off and the Crackers roared home to a 198 point victory to set up a nine straight start to the season.

The big winners from the following pack where the Professor and Daisy. Professor Crow was an early front runner who had dropped a few matches but they got a mighty percentage booster when they thrashed a horribly out of form Jims TigerRoos who have slumped to an unprecedented 5th straight loss. DaisysDuds made a tight fixture turn into a flogging after Such Is Fyfe failed to turn up for the game.

After talking up Jays Jocks in recent week they got pulled down and out of the eight this week after they got rolled by Moneybrawl. Meanwhile, Duromine Dependent pulled out a good score and knocked over the Wigg Brothers to get out of the relegation zone. Killer Wombats! remain deep in the mire after they went within a whisker of pulling off a massive upset as they fell 12 points short of peeling the Spuds.

Choppa's standards have improved in recent weeks after their 0-3 start and they won their 5th match in 6 weeks to salute in a low scoring match over ZedForce who are in a bit of bother. Greedy Guns look shot and it was the Denver Crows who got the percentage builder while FOOTYLEDGENS went down to Hips Don't Lie who are looking good in the top eight now.

There were some important results in the first week of bye rounds with some key match-ups perhaps settled by bye availability rather than overall squad strength. Professor Crow climbed to the top of the scoring rankings for this league and also provided ladder leader Crack of Trust with their first defeat of the season. The Crack are still two games clear at the top but that four points will be vital for the Professor's top four hopes. In another big match top four contenders DaisysDuds and Hips Don't Lie were only separated by five points as Hippys got the chocolates. DaisysDuds fell out of the top four after Such Is Ffye cleaned up Denver Crows who couldn't match last rounds massive score in the bye round.

Several teams that had been on extended losing runs managed to break through for important wins this week. Jims TigerRoos managed to hit back with a massive win over Moneybrawl which sent them sprawling down the ladder and into the relegation zone. Duromine Dependent made it two on the trot and they are on the march as they were too good for Brown Boys. Wigg Brothers need a win this week and got it thanks to a match up against Greedy Guns who are firming for the spoon by the week. Killer Wombats! pulled off a surprise win over Choppa's Standards and did it pretty easily in the end.

FOOTYLEDGENS won their match against ZedForce which is a key result for their hopes of avoiding relegation but despite the win they actually dropped one spot closer to the relegation zone. ZedForce are in real trouble now at 2-8 and a win over battling FOOTYLEDGENS was a must as much tougher matches await Zed.
