ROUND 21 UPDATE

Relegated to Hogg Division I in 2012

13. FOOTYLEDGENS
15. dunKsKrew

FOOTYLEDGENS' relegation sees the end of a five year run at the top level. dunKsKrew was a participant in the inaugural Hogg Premier before going walkabout in 2008. He has been a Hogg Premier coach since returning in 2009. Both teams struggled to keep up this season as the standard went up.

Relegated to Hogg Division II in 2012

14. Professor Crow
16. Voss' Junkyard

SCD and SJABC went down with SJABC's Junkyard not winning a match all year in what turned out to be the toughest Hogg ever. That makes it two relegations in two years for the Junks who are good things for a Bunny invite to go along with his Divvy II invite. SCD's Professor Crow scored much better than Voss' Junkyard and can consider himself a bit unlucky to go down after cobras won their second straight relegation final. The Professor made the finals in Divvy I last year so I reckon next year he might be one of those rare coaches that prospoers after being relegated the previous season.

Promoted to Hogg Division II in 2012

1. Toolman
2. Browny's Boys

The first two sides to be promoted to Division II for next year have dominated the competition in recent weeks with Toolman doing it easy and Browny's Boys just falling over the line in his final. Both sides will have done well to get out of Divvy III which will have four gun Division IV coaches coming up and Toolman in particular could very well be in Division I in 2013. Congrats Tooly and Browny.

Cub is spewing. Why didn't Boxhead play like that all year. We might have claimed our rightful place at the top of the league rankings if he did.

Yes, that's a tough gig for cub

When did Boxhead start getting his act together? You can't leave a team untouched and not finish bottom

ROUND 22 UPDATE

Promoted to Hogg Division II in 2012

7. Hips Don't Lie
8. Les's Men

Congrats to Hips and Les who have won their way through to Hogg Division II next season. I reckon 8th ranked Les's Men can actually win that Division III flag although Toolman might have something to say about that. Next week we find out who is going up to Hogg Premier League next year.

ROUND 23 UPDATE

Promoted to Hogg Premier League in 2012

4. wycbloods
7. Dutchy's Dodos

Promoted to Hogg Division I in 2012

3. Marion ManBearPigs
6. Deckens Cider

Congratulations to bloods and Dutchy who have been promoted to the Premier League next season. At the start of the finals there were perhaps four other sides that looked to have the better claims but bloods and Dutchy have performed when it counted.

Congrats also to the ManBearPigs and the Ciders Who have been promoted to Division I next season. Look out boys but you are coming from a league ranked 2200 something to a league that is currently ranked just outside of the top 500! 6th ranked Ciders in particular might find it tough going in Divvy I next year.

ROUND 24 UPDATE

Promoted to Hogg Division III in 2012

1. Honey Badgers
2. Has Been
3. Cossi's Carnts
4. WLF

Promoted to Hogg Division IV in 2012

4. Chicken Noodles

Promoted to Hogg Division V in 2012

1. Hairy Chequebook
2. Pump up ze jams
3. Mumma's Boys
4. Sturt B Team

Congratulations to all of these teams who have racked up the points all season long and thoroughly deserve their promotions. Congrats especially to some of the Bunny Bowlers who escaped the warren this season although Hairy Chequebook and Pump up ze jams have been big fish in a small pond all year long. Hopefully they get more of a challenge against the Division V teams.

Relegated to Hogg Division III

13. OneWinWonders
14. destiny's uncles
15. HOLLAND'S HERO'S
16. Blue Boy

Relegated to Hogg Division V

13. whufc
14. Wonder Elephants
15. BloodnTars
16. Baron Greenbacks

Relegated to the Bunny Bowl (provisional only)

13. JJ's Jrunks
14. The Glory Shed
15. Parky Crusaders
16. Private Frotherty

At this stage it looks like only the Crusaders and the Private will end up in the Bunny Bowl as their are plenty of teams worse off than JJ's Jrunks and The Glory Shed but it is possible (depending on numbers next year) that all four could go down.

wow, looks like my hopes of rising up in the divvy 4 rankings have taken a hit, all four promoted into our league are ranked comfortably in the top 30 hogg coaches for this year! looks like mid table for me a gain ;)

and not to question your work REB, but did you miss the relegated teams from div III to div IV? or maybe it is a typo? thanks for all the work this season too, keep up the good work!

News just in!

Dreamteam is to move to an 18 team competition next year, what does this do for promotion?

Will prelim finalists be moved up the tree? Or overall point scorers?

No need. The promotion rules remain the same for each division. If it was wins that got you promoted from your league then it is wins that get you up. If it was points then it is points that get you up. Just couldn't be arsed right now because I'm over SuperCoach at the moment..just enjoying the real stuff for now.
