Everyone's teams coming together

Postby bd u15 09 » Tue Jun 04, 2013 10:51 am

As everyone's sides are coming together at the moment as we all start trying to upgrade our rookies to premiums, I thought we could post what we want our final sides to look like. If everything goes right with no more injuries, this will be my team after the last bye round.

B: Goddard, Taylor, Duffield, Hartlett, Birchall, Heppell (Docherty, Thurlow)
M: Ablett, Swan, Pendlebury, Cotchin, Deledio, Priddis, Gibbs, Hodge (T Mitchell, Martin)
R: Cox, Maric (Blivcas, Rowe/Currie)
F: Franklin, Roughead, Harvey, Kennedy, Bartel, Rockliff (Staker, Burbury)

Will have 9-10 trades left to cover for injuries/big drop of form.

Coming together nicely... Will have 10 trades left and around $500K in the bank by the time I'm done this week.
After the bye weeks, probably round 15 I'd say the bulldogs should be at full strength which will look something like

DEF: Goddard, Shaw, Hanley, Birchall, Gibbs, Vlastuin. INT: Goodes, Thurlow
MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Watson, Swan, Kennedy, Priddis, Cotchin, Fyfe, . INT: Mitchell, Hrovat
RUCK: Cox, Minson INT: Nicholls, Daw
FWD: Franklin, Bartel, Kennedy, Ryder, Johnson, N Reiwoldt. INT: Staker, Lee

Maybe also Goodes or Vlastuin into Hibberd or Heppell... we'll see
At least 6 trades up my sleeve for any LTIs and half decent cover on all lines

Happy with that...

After the byes side will be;

Backs: Goddard, Gibbs, Birchall, Hartlett, Scotland, Goodes (Staker,Thurlow)
Mids: Ablett, Pendles, Swan, JPK, Selwood, Cotchin, Murphy, Priddis (t Mitchell, K Martin)
Rucks: Naitanui, Mcevoy (Nichols, Currie)
Fwds: Cox, S Johnson, Franklin, Rockliff, D Martin, Zorko (Dwyer, Sumner)

With the extra trades this year seems like most teams will end up fully upgraded at some point

Yep, even my awful Vlastuin-less team this year (ranked 34K) looks like being complete with basically the best players in all positions by about round 16 with a few trades still left - which will mean luck is likely play a big part in deciding finals games.

My starting squad was full of lemons and I'm a bit sour about it. I'm miles off it. If I use all my trades I can get up to speed and have my usual one trade left for finals. It would be the same shit if we had 35 trades a season LOL.

regards,

Had to wear a bit of pain during this first bye round to do this, but have $900K in the bank and am ready to go on a spending spree as clubs come off their break.

My starting team was excellent. My trading is worse that Melbournes.

By the end of the season everyone's teams are going to look the same especially in DT with all the extra trades.
