This year it is a case of picking the last rookies left standing. So many downgrade options means that this is the season of the recycled and midpriced player.

There are number of sites these days for fantasy comps.
Stumbled upon the Elite Sports News Cash Cow guide today.
Nicely presented with both DT and SC versions.

It is up to date, but don't take their info as absolute gospel.
e.g. Dylan Shiel apparently did play for the GWS reserves on the weekend and might play against Sydney on saturday.

So no Clifton, Miles, Downie, Reid, Golds, Bruce or Sumner in the GWS starting line up all players that I expect to get good game time so most GWS players will be having breaks through the season. The question is how is it going to be done? Also which one of Tomlinson, Green, Tyson and Townsend will be the first sub? I think it is obvious Cunningham will be the sub for Sydney.

With the nature of this extended partial lockout, it's a certainty that most will burn a couple of trades early to latch onto rookies they missed out on in their initial squad.

I just have to make one amendment now, bring in Shiel for someone, either Pfeiffer, McDonald or Neale, then again, maybe not. Hurry up round 2
