I am pretty sure Kanye has scored a top 10 spot before and that was not via a count hijack. They actually had Gold Digger on their rotation that year now I assume they won't touch him.

LOL, and no album, single or music chart has ever been manipulated in the history of the music industry?

BTW, can't stand what's her name.

I'll knock it. It was crap, where Offspring became a parody band.

I do agree with that actually. It was the beginning of the end. I was 10 when it came out, so it was pretty cool to me then.

And it did introduce me to them, and after hearing that my uncle gave me their older albums. They were my favourite band for the next couple of years.

PS.

Im still gonna knock WUB

Not enough to get on the voting list though or did I miss it?

Do they play his new stuff?

I actually like Gold Digger. No problems for me in it making the top 10 that year.

Hopefully this bites Triple J management in the arse. They were accused of trying to manipulate artists to have certain sound to get air play.

For the record I loved listening to BBC Radio One when I was driving around the UK in 2013. They play Taylor plus numerous other 'commercial' artists. I still subscribe to the Radio One spotify lists and enjoy listening to tastes from the other side of the world. I bet most Australians don't realise it's us that test the water for the most European summer hits.

And like Hondo's mate Taylor is my hidden guilty music pleasure. I was fuming that she removed her entire catalogue from Spotify  just don't look in my YouTube history ;)

Exactly. They had to go and jump the shark...

Ixnay on the Hombre (the previous album)is still one of my favourite albums, but Americana only had brief glimpses of awesomeness.

Still, Pretty Fly for a White Guy is nowhere near as shithouse as Original Prankster.

I'm pretty hipster, so I only really liked The Offspring's first album.

I was a massisve JJJ fan throughout the 90's and early 00's and have utterly fallen out of love with the station... praise be to all that is holy for Double J.

Im voting for Shake it Off... as I love yhe catchy popness of it and it is going to piss off my JJJ music snob mates...

If Taylor Swift had a more whiny voice and lived in Northcote she'd be on high rotation at Nova....oops I mean Dribble J.
