RIP Wayne Static from Static-X

Postby Gozu » Sun Nov 02, 2014 8:18 pm

I was never into the band Static-X but the singer and founder Wayne Static has died aged 48 apparently to a drug overdose.

Singer/guitarist Wayne Static (born Wayne Richard Wells) of the industrial metal band STATIC-X has passed away at the age of 48. His death was confirmed by Wayne's publicists at FiXT Publicity.

No further details are currently available, but some of Wayne's associates have indicated that his passing may have been the result of a drug overdose.

His passing is sad news.

I quite liked Wisconsin Death Trip.
Politicians kissing babies for good luck,
TV preachers sell salvation for a buck.
You don't need no golden cross to tell you wrong from right,
The world's worst murderers were those who saw the light.

I think that was the name of the album my brother had.

48 is way too young.

Give it a good listen mate, it's quite good.

48 is much too young, but early reports suggest drugs may have been a factor.
