Faster Louder gave the album 8/10.

Well, the involvement of US native Stanier obviously required some scheduling – the man’s highly in demand, although he’s also been out here with various bands often enough. And the Scott brothers have serious day jobs too: When not punishing amplifiers they’re toiling outside of Adelaide in the industrial shithole that is failed satellite town Elizabeth working on classified military electronics.

TMOC now confirm John Stanier won't be drumming with them on this tour due to Tomahawk commitments:

Brothers, John and Kim Scott have spent the better part of the festive season rehearsing with Adelaide based drummer Eli Green, who will join them on the Songs Of The Third and Fifth national album tour this March, sitting in for regular TMOC drummer John Stanier, who is unable to tour due to his current commitments with US band Tomahawk.
