Mike Patton has amazing vocal range. Having seen Chris Cornell solo last year and twice with Soundgarden this year I really rate his voice. John Bush of Armoured Saint/Anthrax fame is another, it's no wonder Metallica pushed so hard to get him 30 years ago. Big fan of what James Hetfield's voice has become in recent years, epsecially on Death Magnetic. Bruce Dickinson has a distinctive voice that suits Maidens music well.

On a more local level, [b]Ian Kenny from Birds of Tokyo impressed me when I saw them live. I've always had a soft spot for Sarah McLeod. Phil Jamieson from Grinspoon, Pinky Beecroft from Machine Gun Fellatio and Ron Hitler-Barassi from TISM are right up on my list. As something slightly different, I'm a big fan of Patience Hodgson from The Grates.

I definitely agree with that. Ian Kenny is the man!

I am a proud owner of that aforementioned EP, Gozu. It is indeed quite brilliant. Personally, Faith No More's Angel Dust is my favourite album of all time, and 'Retrovertigo' from Mr. Bungle's California is my favourite song ever.

Yep, Dave is just telling it as it is. The thing about Reece Mastin is I've seen his X-factor audition videos on youtube and the dude can actually sing but now he is just a f**khead.
