John Bush of Armoured Saint/Anthrax fame is another, it's no wonder Metallica pushed so hard to get him 30 years ago. Big fan of what James Hetfield's voice has become in recent years, epsecially on Death Magnetic. Bruce Dickinson has a distinctive voice that suits Maidens music well.
On a more local level, [b]Ian Kenny from Birds of Tokyo impressed me when I saw them live. I've always had a soft spot for Sarah McLeod. Phil Jamieson from Grinspoon, Pinky Beecroft from Machine Gun Fellatio and Ron Hitler-Barassi from TISM are right up on my list. As something slightly different, I'm a big fan of Patience Hodgson from The Grates.

This is correct.
Not sure if you've got it FC but you should get the EP Patton did with Dillinger Escape Plan 'Irony Is A Dead Scene', best thing he's ever done!

I definitely agree with that. Ian Kenny is the man!

Former X-Factor contestant, Reece Mastin has come out saying that he should be at Soundwave Festival with the likes of Metallica, Blink 182, Offspring and Linkin Park.
Aussie rock legend, and Screaming Jets front man, Dave Gleeson says he (Mastin) is a pop star and has no place there!
Reece says he's a rocker, but Gleeso is outraged saying "I don't care what he (Mastin) says about his songs being hardcore, they are as soft as dead set ice cream...he can't even sing."

Dave is right, yet again. If the mindless garbage (and that's an insult to garbage) Mastin puts out is ever considered 'hardcore', please pass me the Kool-Aid.
