I'm not much into pop music, but I thought it might amuse somebody to mention that I had dinner recently with a family group including Nigel Bennett from The Vibrators when he was here in Adelaide visiting his daughter and ex-wife about a month ago. He is still touring. Funnily enough we turned up wearing almost completely matching linen jackets and had a little debate about which was best...
He is still touring, and his daughter wrote one of his recent songs.

Lots of tribute bands getting around from those recent Gozu posts. Apparently The Clone Roses are a ripper, might check that one out.

Huge market in it clearly. I was thinking about going to see The Iron Maidens in a couple of weeks time but not going now and who knows might get cancelled because of coronavirus anyway.
FWIW, the tribute band shows I post are all touring bands from overseas or interstate, the vast majority of the ones at The Gov are international.

Yeah some of these muso's are extremely talented but can't breakthrough with original material so good on them for earning a living being in a tribute act.

If we can socialise legitimately by November, I might check this one out. Saw them about 10 years back at Fowlers play all of the 'Meantime' album, and whilst Page Hamilton is a bit of a knob, those tunes sounded huge in the flesh.
