Whilst I do like RHCP, I always had a distaste towards Kiedis, mainly due to his distaste for Mike Patton.
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

Don't know about the video but the song belongs in the worst song ever thread, along with Snoop Dog's Drop It Like It's Hot

I just read kiedis autobiography. Interesting guy . He's been on drugs and sleeping with chicks since he was 13.

They all loved Dave Navarro and one hot minute even though they refuse to play anything off the album live anymore.

From memory he was the reason Bungle didn't play one of the BDOs in Australia - Kiedis wouldn't bring RCHP over if Patton was going to be playing.

Especially one hot minute great album where before i hated it.

Tiny music is still my least fav stp album it's to poppy for me. But only due to their other albums kick ass.

Thanks guys.

Tiny Music... is poppy, but only in parts, I believe. I quite liked the sloppiness of the playing and performance that at times harked back to 1960s and 1970s rock. I think that makes it their least pop offering as a whole. All the other albums, while being generally non-pop in sound, have a much more slick production style to it.

I still stand by Stone Temple Pilots being their least favourite album though.

One Hot Minute, I believe, has always been an undervalued album, especially when you consider its' predecessor and successor. However, I identified with the sound a lot more, as I wasn't always a big fan of their funk-punk offerings. I do think that one day it will get the kudos it deserves, as it was a stylistic left turn they really needed to make at the time.

I like stps last album huckleberry crumble between the lines take a load off hazy days dare to dare and peacoat are awesome IMHO!!

Between The Lines and Peacoat are the only songs from that album that get a regular listen on my stereo, much like Days Of The Week, Long Way Home and Wonderful are the only ones from Shangri-La Dee Da that I keep coming back to.

It all started with the whole California-Californication thing, when Mr. Bungle and RHCP were releasing those albums around the same time. Kiedis didn't want that happening, and was quite a c**t about it, so Bungle made fun of RHCP in the press and onstage.

Kiedis ended up having a hissy fit and refused to play the Big Day Out in 2000 if Mr. Bungle were on the bill. So guess who got canned?

Kiedis did always think Patton stole his style too...

Started when Kiedis saw the Epic film clip I reckon... and was annoyed that people would think it was him.

Bingo! Mike Patton has more talent in his right hand (which is permanently numb) than Kiedis has in his whole body.

Love Stone Temple Pilots !!

Too me , this is one of their most underrated songs. Released on their best of album "Thank You" before they split...then came back together a few years ago.

Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Daft Punk - Random Access Memories

Is it just me or is this being way overly hyped?? It has been the "album of the week" on J's and the songs I am hearing are just terrible. A lot of them just synthesised rubbish. Am I missing something??
