Shoes too good for the Emus today, about 3 goals in the end.

Quick question if a player is red carded in one grade, can that player play up in the next grade

Massive day at Flaggy yesterday, big crowd, emotional, finals type feeling and great results!

Flaggies turned around a 0-5 result a month ago against the Flies, to 4-1 yesterday losing the 16s in a thriller.

Shows how even these clubs are at the moment and any of the 5 sides could win on their day.

A grade was closer than the scoreboard shows, Flies really should have been 4-5 goals up at 1/4 time missing many set shots.

Interesting that they used 3 umpires yesterday, something I presume they will do in the finals on the bigger grounds?

Good summary Dutchy. Flies looked slow and don't appear to have a lot of outside run. Reynella had several out but none of them will help in that regard. Well done to Flaggies, to good on the day.
They all look fit and spread the load well. Will be very tough to beat come GF day on a big oval.

Flies a bit leg weary after a few home games in the mud maybe?

Maybe Dutchy, a few of the Reynella lads appear to be carrying a few extra pounds and really struggled with the 2 way running as the game wore on.
Same could be said of the Flies B-grade. Going to be an interesting finals series in all the grades.

SJP a player cannot play any part in another game on that day once Red Carded, he cannot even run water or play the following day either!

That is not a rule

Regulation 9

1.ii "...he shall be ordered from the field for the remainder of the match and shall not be replaced for ten minutes."

3.i "...The reported player may not return to the field during the match..."

Yellow cards can accumulate in following games on the same day however:

1.ii "If the offending player receives a second warning, whether it is for the same or any other offence on the same day, he shall be ordered..."

I see the Hawks B grade played , enough numbers?

Christies Beach had a solid win and have been for a while now.
Port Noarlunga another loss with Reynella to play this wend .
Flaggies turn around from just a few weeks ago to dispatch the wineflies and take top spot are now the hunted.
Bombers form continues with Twisties to play this wend will be a cracker.
Solid win by the lads has consolidated top 4 spot , considering the injury list to the senior squad the B grade lads have continued to play good footy.

I was down at Marion when they ran out before the game and only counted 13, with a few old blokes with plenty of strapping, maybe a few 16s played to make the numbers up?

From what I saw, a mix of very young lads and a few seniors who may not have played in years.

Not much banter from the Happy Valley followers this week.
I would consider Jon Eagleton exceptionally lucky to be playing the last round, or the next 2-3 the following season.

Who's the favourite for the mail medal?
Back in SA the last month and only seen 2 games this year.
Would love to see my mighty bombers sneak in the play off.
Flaggys and reynella may be hard to beat from what I have heard .

Also heard about this. Assuming the regulars gave him some 'advice' when they left the field.

How is the felled fella Moe?
