Farrier is going to play in Darwin with his brother in Darwin in the off season and will be back. Log has never said he was retiring, it's more so getting a healthy balance between football and family.
Yes Broadbent is travelling OS and will be sorely missed but we have a number of players who can step up inbto that role.
Like I said pretty much everyone is committed to coming back and trying to go back to back.

good to hear! the average age will climb again  , didnt seem to matter this year tho. nah, there's a few young guys coming through too which is good.

Reynella would have depth through the juniors to cover Billings IF he left.

Who is the tall kid in U18.. Ward??
Do Reynella expect these lads to push to A grade in 11?

Broadbent is a massive loss in more ways than one. I would have thought he may have been a future captain in training

Don't stress, IP. Broady will be back in 2012 after he has travelled for a year. He was going to travel this year but decided to put it off for a year and have another crack at a flag. Good thing he did.

Don't be surprised if Pressy continues as captain next year and Broady takes over in 2012

Is it true that Jason Baylis has retired and taking up a role with Port Magpies as the strength and conditioning coach with the U18s?

Seems the CHFs in the competition will be able to rest a little easier next year with McKenzie hanging up his boots.....
Sad to hear if this is indeed the case - one of the greatest players I have ever had the priveledge to watch and a great bloke

Very tough defender and has been a top player in the comp for quite a while. Definately retired or looking at other options?

Big loss for the Hawks ! They were just starting to build a team with at least a couple of genuine A graders - losing Mosar takes them back to about 1 1/2 real A grade players.
I really feel bad for them, it gets so hard to recruit good players with no-one on the field to inspire and attract them. Blake is real quality.

Blake is a good player yes. but when you have players that don't want to be there it makes it hard. he will be even better again in a different atmosphere.
But yes big loss for them.

I'd say a bit of each  Trev is a talent, he'll kick alot of goals if Sammy is able to leave him as a permanent forward. Best mark i've seen for a bloke his size.

I think Trev would be a handy edition to the Bomber forward line.. if you watched the GF they did lack firepower up forward. But I think Sam needs to court a CHF and a Ruckman then he would have the balance needed to win next year. Is P32 a former student? maybe the Bombers can recruit him over, as 2 years at a club is a long time Panther.
