Darren masons best mate died in a car crash at half time.During the 3rd quater his wife took him from the ground and told him the news. Darren ended up coming back on to the ground and played the rest of the game.as a team mate that is not only tough to do but inspiring to me. so from now on when i think ive got it tough all i got to do is think back to what Mason did and how my problems were nothing compared to his. darren is a true team man

That is certainly tough.......
but Kain Hewitt is the toughest player getting around at the moment he is lean, keen and very mean. He is focused and disciplined He is in career best form. He is so f#*#*en hungry we had to take the footballs away from him last night.

Whilst That is respectable. Tough, Mason is not! Whas he is, is 1 of the dirtiest players getting around! And has been for years, Don't mistake toughness for dirtiness!

if the ball is there to be won, i dont care who is around or who i have to mess with. if he's stupid enough (as is the case plenty of times) to throw a cheap shot, then i get the free. he's a dirty player, not a tough player.

I bet you wouldnt say that to his face.

Pretty sure i saw Mason running down Seacliff the other night.

Wasn't 100% but he looked HUGE and fit.

As for playing wise Mason still owns the dirtiest act i've witnessed in my time in the SFL. (i missed mal lee getting chippy)

Tough.. yes... in a carpark...

Scott Mackenzie was a guy i always knew i would have a tough day.
