Wilkshere, Kennedy and Rogic cut from the World Cup squad

Kennedy and Rogic with big injury concerns, not worth the risk. Not sure about Wilkshere

Personally I still thought Kennedy might be worth a crack on the bench with a chance of coming on late giving us a chance at set pieces which will most likely be our only chance of scoring

Tim Cahil one of the best headers in the game. I'd take him over Kennedy. Got to be able to do more which I think Kennedy lacks atm

Agree Cahill is better but I think both are better with each other as they become a double threat.

Kennedy does need to do more but if we are 1-0 down with 5 to go surely he would be worth a crack as I wouldn't be surprised if the only time the ball enters our attacking box is from set pieces.

Not a bad hit out for the Aussies

May have been a bore fest but if you don't like you might as well not watch the Aussies at the WC, we are never going come out and play rash attacking tica taca against the likes of Spain or Netherlands. The only way the Aussies are going to be involved in an exciting goal fest is if we are getting pumped 4-5 nil

Imho

Positives
Matt Ryan- real agressive and looked very composed
Structure when we slowed the play down was real good both with and without the ball
Pressure by our forwards on the Croats defence

Negatives
Leckie- made good runs but if it was AFL he was going at 5% efficiency with his possessions
No Kennedy- the only time it looks like we will get a shot at goal is from set pieces and crosses, even if he only had 10mins at the end of the game I reckon he would be worth it
Franjic- on the right was exposed a bit today but I think he is gonna have the goods so will hold his spot

This game has justified my decision to stay at home and watch WC, the 'AFL once ever 4 year Socceroos fans' are going to have a field day with the way we will go about it at the WC which imho will be very unfair on this squad
