watched their goal scored in the 80th minute this morn. We looked very lethargic / tired for most of the game I am told. Seems when flamini is not a DM then we struggle more so.

You are in trouble if that muppet comes on.
Arsenal are starting to emmerge as a force once again, need to part ways with the deadwood and its a big backwards step if he is getting game time.
Today was just a blip on the radar, Dortmund are a very, very good side, no disgrace losing to them

8) cmon jimbob, far from a muppet, will be a very good bench/depth cover for our starting midfield esspecially as depth has been a big issue for us. I can still see a role for him at Arsenal througout the different competitions this season.

Carling Cup is about all he should play in.
Was good a few years ago now I think he is fairly average.
Cant see how he fits into your side at all, you have now got some decent depth and reckon you might even sign some more depth in January so he is surplus.

Champions League 2013/14

Postby Jim05 » Thu Oct 24, 2013 8:04 am

United eke out a scratchy win. Scored from an OG after 2 minutes and looked very nervous in patches but managed to hold on.
The 2 German sides put on a masterclass today, Munich didnt get out of 2nd gear and still looked all class, still my favourites for the comp this year. Performance of the day was Zlatan's 4 goals against Anderlecht, absolute scoring machine. Lowlight of the day was Ronaldo's pathetic effort to get Chiellini sent off and effectively kill the match, was hardly touched and he rolled around on the ground like he was having a fit and then gets up smiling once the red was shown, really poor form IMO

Dortmund will win the group, last game is Napoli vs Arsenal and that will decide who goes thru

Just watched the highlights, Zlatan's 3rd was a cracker.
Chellini is a knob but that was so funny, Ronaldo rolled around like he had been shot. Red card for him would of been even funnier.

4 minutes to go, still the same score. Dortmund could miss the next stage if it ends up with this by the looks

Napoli to win the group you say ?

Arsenal pretty much through now, would need to lose by more than 3 goals and not score any in our last game at Napoli to miss out if other games put teams on 12 points .

No surprise that Arsenal are as good as through they always get through the group stages, usially starts going pear shaped at the quarters but reckon they can push atleast to semis this year with a good draw

considering we were told it was the group of death and arsenal wouldn't basically win a game then it is more than just progressing IMO.

Definately a strong group but no surprise Marseille were the whipping boys, French Ligue One is a very ordinary standard, an easy 6 points for the other 3 clubs
