Stroke at over 38/min for 6 mins solid all in unison, skill execution required to spot on (exit, carry over the water, re-entry has to be perfect).

Amazing sport.

Get on your concept II ergo at your local gym tonight and try and hold 35 strokes/min for 2 min and see how long you last*.... (@Pseudo ;)

Only 35 strokes a minute? Amateurs.

Yeah they're fit **** that's for sure. I used to do an hour on the rower twice daily last year for 3 months and lost a heap of weight and the first day I did it, I lasted 5 minutes and thought I was going to die
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Rohan Dennis from Adelaide is on the road in the cycling time trial. Left as the 5 highest ranked and currently sits third. Has a lap to go.

To the current overall medal tally and we are in front of both Great Britain and thankfully the Kiwis.

So far so good been a good Olympics for the Aussies. Always tougher in the 2nd week when the Swimming gives way to the Athletics.

Still good chance to jag some medals in track cycling, and usually pick something up in some of the obscure events, modern pentathlon as an example...

A decent but unspectacular win by the Boomers against a plucky Italian side earlier tonight. Next up we play Germany on Saturday evening.

Australia 86 (Landale 18, Mills 16, Kay 15, Baynes 14, Ingles 14) def Italy 83 (Fontecchio 22, Mannion 21, Polonara 12)

That's a pretty ignorant comment. If the Olyroos don't proceed to the knockout rounds, that's not a choke. What is a choke are countries like France, Germany and Argentina missing out.
