its on the list of thing to talk the mrs in to doing and even harder now as by then we will have a 2 year old with us but i am working on it.
Tickets for aussies not out yet and wont be until about march 2011 but going to try and get swimming, hockey, archery, basketball, rowing and cycling. Accomodation is also going to be an issue as flats are already going for GBP1200 per week.

Well done Tassie...at least you'll be getting something.
IIRC they said on the news here the other day that there were 40,000 tickets for the men's 100m finals and over a million applied. There's gonna be a lot of disappointed people.
Regards
JAS

I'll most probably be in London, so will try and get to a few events depending on what tickets I can score.
Went past the Olympic stadium the other day, looking quite impressive.

I'll be in London in May, looking fed to at least getting a look at facilities, unfortunately with work commitments couldn't travel in August.

I remember the 2004 Olympics when every night SBS would replay the womens volleyball... the Polish team were stunning.
I'm hoping for more of the same in 2012...

Unfortunately if you haven't got Foxtel you wont be seeing any minor sports or sports that Australia don't do well in as its shared between 9 & foxtel and you know 9 will be showing a shitload of swimming over & over again

Or.........Now we are crossing to the <insert obscure "sport"> as Australia is just about to win gold.
