No doubt according to Stokes and co the light will be good enough and they wont worry about the wet outfield

Today's forecast now looks awful and unlikely for any play. Probably due on our part for some bad luck as we have had some luck with rain over the years. Real pity we couldnt get to the oval 2 all though as i feel like that would be unreal.

We will regret that first test as we should have won if not for Bairstow's drops and not picking wood just looks criminal now.

Interesting stat

Over their entire test careers Starc averages more with the bat than Warner in both England and India.

Joe Root:
"It doesn't get dark here in England until 10pm in the summer, why can't we just play until we bowl the overs?

Why don’t you bowl 15 overs an hour instead of 12-13??

Include Australia in that.

Looking at the UK Gov radar it looks bloody rough. Joe Root should be asking why they don’t start earlier, forget starting later.

Not an ideal way to retain the urn, but praying for washout just to wake up to Piers Morgan’s take on it [-o< :D
