Shocking to hear. Just hours ago he was sending condolences to the Marsh family on Twitter. Icon. RIP.

Just re-emphasises the advice I recently received from a newly widow who's husband died of an unchecked heart condition, to make the time to go and get my health checked out.

An absolute genius bowler who sadly his knowledge on the art of leg spin bowling has been lost forever. RIP

Gutted, shocked and a number of other emotions at the passing of SK Warne.

I consider myself very fortunate to have seen him play the game.

RIP

I've already seen and probably will see plenty more of Shane Warne wicket videos that already live rent free in my head people are posting in celebration to his life. Seeing footage of him will make me never forget how good he was and how lucky we were to see him play and bowl.

Long live the King!

Rip warnie!
Shocked and stunned to say the least.
Although his commentary lately annoyed me, he was a seriously good bloke.
52, way too young.

If ever a decision needs to be reviewed it's this one.

Probably my favorite cricketer. Inspired a generation. That will be a lasting LEGacy (sorry MAL).

He was a freak. It was like Tony modra in his prime. U just knew something special was going to happen and u waited in anticipation but they'd never let u down.

The best cricketer I’ve seen. First of all he is the best leg spinner (arguably spinner) the game has ever seen and he was also an exceptional lower order batsman and slips fielder. Most of all he stood up consistently when it mattered and orchestrated a heap of histories greatest cricketing moments in both formats he predominantly played in. A true showman and only behind Sir Don as the best our country has produced.

Total shock, easily in the best 5 cricketers to have ever played the game, id rate him no2 behind Don.
Watching the tribute on Fox now, his best 50 wickets, just amazing to relive the genius he was. A massive ratio of wickets at Adelaide Oval which surprises me. Loving the flashbacks of the greatest time in ODI cricket when stadiums were packed.
I will miss his insights into the game through his commentary, him and R.Ponting the best two brains in Australian cricket. The intellectual loss to Australian cricket will be massive, the kids coming through that now wont get a word of advice from the great SK Warne.

His cricket ability is unrivalled, but good bloke? Not sure about that.
