Make that 2/1
Starc with 2 LBW’s and 5 overs in still not a run from the bat

Starc gets runs, gets his confidence up, guess thats a good thing

That’s the problem with Starc at the moment.

You pick him and you can tell in the first over if his going to be any good, ball swings and his in the game, if it doesn’t swing you might as well play with 10 for an innings

Second one was Liam Scott, agree was plumb. He is not a No. 3 batter, Head should really be batting first drop

Yes correct, my mistake.

Agreed Head should bat 3 in this side

I don't know much about Scott, has barely played grade cricket this season

Agreed, but switch 'at the moment' with 'across his career'.

Hunts LBW was a shocker !!!!

Scotts Plumb?  Wouldn't call clipping Leg stump Plumb

Umpiring at 1st class level in recent years has been atrocious in regards to dubious LBW decisions in favour of the bowlers.

Mitchell STARc

Has had a very good career with Australia
Very good test bowler
Exceptional limited overs bowler, one the greatest produced by Australia

At times the criticism he cops is similar to what Mitchell Johnson endured as well
What you get with both of them is a degree of inconsistency , but mostly good form
Test bowling averages
28-40 Johnson
27-57 STARc

We might have to cut a bit of slack with STARc this season
He has had a rib injury , and possibly other injuries
Also his father was ill and passed away recently
Add COVID into the equation , which can affect even a professional sportsmen

STARc just turned 31, he might decline, but I expect he will perform well to well enough for another few seasons
I say he still deserves his place in any Australian team at present

Scott's LBW looked out live, looked out on replay. If you are not giving that out you are not giving many LBW decisions

That umpire doing his first game, had no issue with them. Do agree there have been some terrible ones this season though.

Ask Alex Carey if he has any problem with the umpires

How did the umpire give Carey out?

That is more of the point than the LBW calls!! Without going to video, umpires should not give them run out when so close, he was clearly in as well which makes it worse.

Same thing happened to Tom Cooper in the One day game last Thursday, fired straight away when looked home. Could cost him his career that decision!

Dear me, he was in the stands ordering his 2nd hot dog by the time the ball hit the wickets, the ump must have a fringe show booked in for this arvo.

Carey appeared to make his ground although did the umpire deem his bat wasn't grounded? Either way it was a very passive running between wicket effort and he shouldn't have even given the fielder any chance to get close to running him out. He gets run out far too often across all forms.
