Siddle will always be handy to have around and is pretty under rated. 200 wickets, averages almost exactly 30. The poms would be going bananas if he was one of theirs. I'd love to see Starc instead of Siddle, because of balance for one but also I think Starc has as many weapons as any bowler we've seen. But wouldn't think Pattinson or Cummins, even fully fit, would be all that far ahead.

I'd have Siddle instead of Bird

I ignored a thread in another part of this forum about commentaors and I know apart from Chappelli, Healy and Taylor ours struggle but one thing about the Ch 9 commentators is they very seldom use the the word "we" when commentating unlike some of kuwu commentators like I heard Richardson say last week.

Heard them use it in the SL series too.

In general I think somewhere between 300 and 400 is a good score for aim for in first innings when producing a pitch. That means a team should be batting for roughly 120 overs. If they do that in their first innings and bat for 80 in the second innings, thats still 4 days and 40 overs of cricket
