I set the timer and watched a bit of it this morning more for seeing cricket being played at an American baseball field which was interesting and although a lot of the guys obviously aren't what they were I couldn't believe how quick Shoaib Akhtar still is. One short delivery to Kallis whizzed right past his nose and Kallis did well to get away from it.

Playing on baseball diamonds, so some boundaries would be 30-45m at most. Plus you've got 45 year olds bowling at half rat power, batsmen like Ponting, Tendulkar, Lara etc who only finished in the last 3-4 years. Still have an eye.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Having said that the commentary team were saying that Minute Maid Park was better suited to the game of cricket than Citi Field was. Basically it's just a social outing for retired players under the guise of promotion...

The only ICC standard ground the US have is in Florida but it's basically just the playing surface with next to nothing for spectators.
