Pak 4/400 odd from over 120 overs.

Deck is an absolute road. Test matches like this will drive supporters to T20 cricket everyday of the week. Total bore fest and I'm an avoid cricket fan.

well if England could catch it may have been a different story.
Pak 8/523 Dec
Eng 0/50

All the Tests in the UAE are the same.
Who ever bats 1st piles on 500+ on a road.
Gotta say its no different to what Australia did for 15 years when they dominated world cricket, i found that boring

Adil Rashid has broken Bryce McGain's record for worst Test bowling figures on debut, 0/163 off 34 overs.

Crowd figure for Day 1: 54

One of the commentators counted the number of people there and reached 151 people. That's a lot of staff for 54 spectators

Ponting has idea that he wants the ICC to consider. It's that the visiting Captain no matter where the test is gets to choose first what they want to do. His theory is groundsman are more likely to produce result wickets.

Interesting idea can't say I'm convinced it would work but interesting idea.

Ive often thought this would work at amateur level where you play over two weeks.

Lol at the Poms.
Skittled the Pakis second dig and required 98 to win off 15 overs. Reached 4/74 before bad light ended the day 4 overs short

I'm sure a few retirement funds just got a healthy bonus.

Fair chance.
When both teams bat for 2 days each and then on the final day wickets tumble like tenpins there would be a few eyebrows raised

This is the 1 thing i have never understood over there.
Happens EVERY time.
NEVER a cloud in the sky BUT they always go off for bad light before the overs are bowled.
Why the F**C dont they just start earlier in the day?
Does anyone know the reason why they dont ?

Pakis WIN with with about 6 overs to go.
Rashid and Wood batted about 30 overs for the 9th wicket until Wood departed.
Anderson had 61 balls to survive with Rashid to force the draw.
Rashid inexplicably smashes a ball to the only fielder not around the bat at cover to be caught. :D
