Bye, next!

Never a big fan of Dhoni

Have to say that India will NEVER have a player of the likes of Tendulkar represent their country again. Im not just talking about all the runs he made. But by how he was modest and humble off the pitch.

The same Tendulkar who stuck up for Harbajhan and accused Symmonds of making up the monkey claims?
Great player but he lost my support after that

Most captains will stick up for their own players you will find. If they don't they wouldn't be good captains.

Should make for an interesting New Years test. He may have to pull his head in a touch now and think a little more about the team.

Hmmm let me think.........That won't happen. Kholi will always put himself and his mirror first before his team.

Pity Tendulkar wasn't captain then, Kumble was.

Tendulkar was using his influence as a diety in India. He know every time he shat the BCCI officials would be queuing to wipe his arse and collect his "offering" to have it bronzed....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Has MS Dhoni said why he pulled the pin now and not after this next Test?

I could understand him announcing now effective at the end of the series but immediately with one Test to go seems odd.

maybe he wasn't happy Australia didn't bowl the last 24 balls.

Did anyone catch Banana boy Peter Siddles chopped up interview on Fox Sports this arvo. He on more than a half dozen occasions says he is fit and ready. With chop ups it's hard to tell just how bad an interview it is as. You don't know if the questions are repetitive but the answers shore as sh@t were. He speaks as if he is in line for selection in Sydney.

Am I correct in assuming the following ;

His Big Bash form is shit
His pace is down
He like most vegans are attention seekers ;)
Apart from the 4 bowlers who took us to a series win he is no longer in the top 8 options
Starc, Agar, Cummins and MMarsh as a bowling option are all ahead of him moving forward

Check out the interview on Fox Sports, it should be there all arvo.

I think someone needs to have a quiet word to ole cement head and break the bad news to him. I'm not sure he will be in the 17 to England even. With jono, Rhino, Hazlewood, Starc, Cummins and a possible bolter I can't see him making the trip as thats 6 pacemen. Throw in 7 batsmen, 2 spinners and a couple of keepers and I think he has worn the baggy green for the last time.

Yep unless we get a string of injuries I can't see him playing again. Hell, even if we do get a string of injuries they may even look at behrendorf or someone line that

I know it's only 20/20 and he gets to play at the Furnuss :vom: :vom: but he has been the most impressive bowler I have seen so far in BBL whereas Siddle hasn't given a yelp....but he's fit and ready
