If SA are serious about winning this, they will be declaring about 350 in front. That would leave them 10 overs tonight, and tomorrow to bowl Australia out. If they bat on tomorrow, they are happy with a draw.

Yep probably to tea.
Saffers mindset always is to save a test before trying to win it. They will bat until there is no chance of us winning

Well they are scoring at a decent rate..a fair bit of that can be put down to POOR bowling - looks like everyone is trying to take a wicket every ball, not content to bowl in good area and build some pressure, it's really average bowling......oh thanks Peter Siddle why don't you go and get a wicket and make all Ive said look like dribble

In my opinion they should let Amla get a hundred then go nuts for about an hour, get the lead to well over 400 and try and roll Australia in 2.5 sessions. However Smith will likely declare an hour after lunch and not have enough time to win assuming the rain does come on Monday.

It's only stumps day 3 squids. They will declare just before tea and give themselves 4.5 sessions to roll them (assuming weather doesn't interfere)

Thunderstorms forecast for Monday Benny, plus with Parnell injuring himself, Smith is down a bowler and with no recognised spinner, I would suspect the declaration may come around lunch time tonight.
