I thought (if it hasn't already been done) this might be a fun idea. It can consist of any player who has played at least 1 Test, not just one side of a particular era.

I'll start.

FC2's F**ked Up XI

Wayne N. Phillips
Mike Veletta
Rob Quiney
Dirk Wellham (c)
Trevor Chappell
Glenn Maxwell
Shaun Young
Greg Dyer (wk, cheating prick)
Paul Wilson
Chris Matthews
Bryce McGain

I was torn between Phillips and Eastwood for an opening spot, as they both came in under similar circumstances (eg. replacing a long-standing, respected member of the side).

Jim Higgs can be 12th man for his proficiency in fielding.

Roy Park - one test. Faced one ball, duck.
Bowled one over, hit for nine runs.
His wife apparently missed his innings, dropping her knitting as he faced up.

I think if you go back to the very earliest sides, there were some shocking selections.

There was a bloke selected as a wicketkeeper who they only found out he'd never kept before once they were on the boat.

Just noticed this on Wiki:

Check out Australia's current Test captain. You'll find it in the box on the right hand side.

His name was Kenneth Burn - a Tasmanian.
Two Tests.

Sorry, FC but he trumps Greg Dyer.

Wellham scored a century on debut so surely there are others for his spot.

Good call.

We could make it a collaborative effort, with the only criteria being that the lineup contains no players who have scored Test centuries or taken 5 wickets in an innings at Test level.

Fire away.

I'd say McIntyre wasn't bad for a 3rd or 4th choice spinner at the time... at least they had depth back then.

I'd be happy with 1 test wicket being Sachin Tendulkar

Mark Taylor also has a test wicket
