Missing off stump
Missing leg Stump
Hitting middle stump
The umpire might not have given it out as the bails might have been dislodged upwards, and somehow landed back on the stumps
i think the reason given was that it was going under.

And to think that Players are expected to just grin and bear it after decisions like that?
Yes i understand mistakes happen and i have F*****D up when umpiring as well but bloody hell thats a stinker against the bowler.

The funny thing was that he bowled him shortly after with the same ball, this time the pad didn't get in the way.

Head out for 50, Batting coach has plenty of work to do.
No footwork whatsoever in both innings.

Seems to be the modern way, Move ya foot about 1 inch and flay the bat about 2 feet away from it
Mind you having said that, past SA Left Handed Legends Boof and Hooksey batted like that with great success but maybe they were in a different class to others to be able to get away with it

Weatherald saving his season here
Too good a player to have dished up what he has so far this season
I wonder if he'll spend another winter up in Brisbane at the Centre of Excellence?

Should Tassie have declared?
By batting on and building a lead it leaves them only one chance of winning the game - bowl us out.
If they declared then they have two avenues - bowl us out or chase down whatever we set them.

That Steketee LBW turn down is just laughable.

He's having enough success that he's probably justified in sticking with his technique
However I'll be interested to see if he'll be able to cope in English conditions against Jimmy Anderson and co. The lack of footwork you've described would be exposed there if anywhere
His biggest issue in his first class career thus far has been his conversion of 50s into 100s

If anyone can do the unthinkable, its the Redbacks! Just a shame it's for the wrong reasons.
