i thought i heard somewhere that it had been postponed until january, with the adelaide oval test becoming the first test, but i just checked on cricket.com.au and there is no mention of that

http://www.cricket.com.au/news/cricket- ... 2014-12-01

There are a range of options I think. I think there is a window just before Christmas but that means 4 test matches back to back. Most likely to be in January I think.

Just cant see the Indians playing a test mid January with the WC coming up. They would be preparing to switch to ODI mode at the conclusion of the Sydney test. They consider the WC far more important than tests

I reckon the Test won't go ahead. If the World Cup wasn't on a reschedule could have been on the cards. Scrap some Teeball I say.

Talk that the Adelaide test may come forward 3-4 days. That will effect a few peoples plans. Brisbane test them after Adelaide but before christmas

CA just sent out a tweet saying no decision has been made yet. Media reports are just pure speculation at this point.

Don't forget this is also going to cause a reshuffle of BBL games as well.

I am pretty flexible and would be able to get the time off so it wouldn't be too much of an inconvenience for me. If my friends can't get the time off though then that would change my plans.

Personally I think they should be trying to minimise the disruption to as many States as possible. The only one I would change would be Brisbane, whether that means re-scheduling or not playing it at all.

This is going to stuff up a lot of people's plans. That's a waste of $300 in membership for people. I doubt I'll be able to go to the first day now.

Not sure why it couldn't have been the 10th to 14th; then 18th to 22nd - there's 3 days in between each match...at least Brisbane gets Saturday as day 4; there, they could have had Saturday as day 3. That's from a selfish point of view of course.
