It was the 85-86 one day season he did so well in. I think he played his one test at the end of that season in NZ. In the 86-87 one day season the West Indies and Ian Botham smashed him around more than the opponents in 85-86. Botham famously took to him for 26 runs in one over in Perth.
I think he was finished by 1987-88 but never got back to the heights of 85-86

Khawaja is no 1 test wonder. Even if ponting comes back someone else will have to make way.
Agree on beer though. The guy cant buy a wicket at ss level

Khawaja should have been on and off this list at least 3 Tests ago.
