Agreed - hold you bat properly when you walk off. He looks like an absolute d...head doing that and now heaps of players are copying it. Looks crap.
I must be a ****.....often walk off holding the blade especially when I've played a stupid shot!

Yeah,
I have no issue with it, the rest of the carry on is hard to watch though.

The outs from last game in Tassie are Bosisto, Hunt, Lehmann, C.Kelly, Kerber, Grant.

Going by that, would think Bosisto, Hunt and Lehmann going to Perth, and reckon Corey Kelly must be going to. The other two just miss out.

Looks like Weatherald misses too having been named captain of Second X1.

Heard team named by tomorrow.

Tim Neilson on radio last night to Blighty’s show was talking up Harry and his batting, obviously he must be going to Perth too. He is not up to playing just as a batter only, would be a joke

As bad as the redbacks are, surely he doesn’t get a spot on batting alone.
We might as well shut the doors down there if they do.

Reckon he will play. Heard Hatziglou been picked in the One day Cup game for Redbacks, big fall from grace for Pope, not picked in either!

Play em’ both.
Get games into them.
Could be a Sleepy and Tim May combo

Hatzi is a leftie though isn’t he?

Na mate, rightie, can't really play both, Pope can't bat for shit and averages 72.5 with the ball, take out his 7/87 and he averages 110.7.

Based on them numbers we're better off playing an extra batsman and getting some extra overs out of Head or Cooper.

Yeah right.
I was thinking he was a chinaman so potentially could play both.
I still think they need to persevere with Pope even though his figures say otherwise.

I'm of the opinion that if we don't have one up to the level required, don't play one, he can work on his craft at district level, I'm by no means giving up on him but if all our bowlers averaged 111 @ 4.4 RPO we'd be batting after tea on day two chasing 6/660 declared.

We are not playing a spinner in the Shield match. Will use part time stuff from Bosisto and Head. Fair enough in WA.

Coming into One day team is Cooper, Ferg, Weatherald, Valente and Hatziglou, so Hatzi be our spinner there.
