Would there be many OS players with that average on the subcontinent?

Funny - when I saw that list I was surprised how poor his record in India was considering the 2001 tour.

Hayden has the 90th highest batting average in India, obviously a lot of Indians in that list above him.

His 3 tours of India he averaged 109.8 in 2001, 30.5 in 2004 and 33.42 in 2008

The first time in 11 years that no African born player will play in a Test match for England.

Super pleased to report live on the 45 bus to the ground a slightly cloudy day with sunshine and an expected top of 18 degrees.

Been damp leading up to the match. Should be fine for the next five days.

Won the toss and batted? Said earlier he would bowl if he won the toss

Yep, we're batting first. Took me by surprise, now doesn't look like it's as bowler friendly as it was described but time will tell.

A run out in the first over of a test match would be unforgivable
