Disgraceful by Stokes to belittle Washington like that. It was his maiden century and India were 2/0 in this game so a great rearguard effort to save the test and stay alive in the series

They're a different breed in the Old Dart, that's for sure.

Yep agree, have no problem when both batters around 90 that they give them chance to make a century, especially when one of them was going to be his maiden century

We are acting a bit like the Aussies under Lehman in the mid to late 2010s. Very hypocritical in what we say and then do. Stokes would be better of just owning hes not that nice of a bloke tbh. Bit of a shame because its a fun team to watch if they just shut up. Root and Woakes are excluded as they seem like lovely fellas.

England v India fifth test at the Oval.
Four changes each for both teams including Stokes who is out with a shoulder injury.

India sent in again (by Pope), lost their 15th toss in a row across formats. They're currently 2/72 from 23 overs. Looks like potential rain around.

Quote of the series has to go to Gambier during his classy fight with the groundsmen this week:

Woakes appears to have dislocated his shoulder and will be unlikely to bowl again in this Test.

Terrible news for Australia if he isn’t fit for the Ashes.
I’m sure the Poms have a conveyor belt of popgun bowlers they can send out here though
