Does it consistently. Dave Warner started as t20 specialist and is now one of the best test batsmen in the world.

U do realise Dave Warner has a first class average of 48 to go with his t20 dominance

A bit different compared to Hales first class average of 34. Has 6 first class tons is over 100 innings and 61 games.

Bit similar to bailey then. He averaged mid 30s for most of his career before using the short form to propel himself. Would love to see him and Warner go head to head in test match cricket.

And Bailey is yet to prove anything, if anything he probably doesn't get a pass mark yet.

Agree it would be entertaining to see Hales vs Warner.
