I see South Africa have pulled out of the 1 day series in Australia in January, something to do with their own T20 (Big Bash) comp clashing with the set down dates for the Australia series

Lets bring Ireland or Afghanistan over for a test match or two.

Yeah good opportunity for Warner to pad his test average on flat Aussie decks against weaker opponents.

In terms of the World Cup qualifying it is effectively a forfeit and leaves the Proteas in massive danger of not getting direct entry to the tournament in India.

England bounced back and thrashed India by 100 runs in the 2nd ODI
England middle order and tail dug them out of a hole when they were 5/102 and ended up with 246.
India could only muster 146 in reply, Reece Topley whoever he is taking 6/24

Some of us have to work today.
I'm sure the crowd number will swell after 5pm.

Smith and Labia in the side makes me hope that we lose.
Why wouldn't England open with Buttler and Hayles? It's just like a T20 but longer, it's the same fundamentals, especially considering Phil Salt takes an opening role.
