Smith: I love his enthusiasm and the way he's taken the game by the balls.
Maxwell: His best and worst is too far apart.
Faulkner: Sooks a bit too much, great player to watch with the stick though, rarely disappoints.
Warner: Gotta admire the way he's altered his game to suit all 3 formats.

How ridiculous that they go off for lunch with 12 runs to go?

Absolutely loving seeing the Poms get done. They're so pathetic that I don't even feel one iota of sympathy.

Can't believe they didn't pick Petersen - actually plays with aggression and without fear, and has experience in pressure situations. Love or hate the bloke, unlike the XI precious quinoa-munching fairies that played today, he at least has some ticker.

Bring on the Ashes.

Has there been a more useless player across all forms of cricket for such a long period of time as Marlon Samuels?

Surely he's on the take?

Does average above 30 at international level in all 3 forms of the game

Even Warner and the Blonde Don can't claim that

Only because ODIs and T20s weren't around in The Don's playing days ... but if you average out his Test stats over the 3 forms he still beats Samuels

The blonde don- Steve smith!!

By no means would I call Samuels down as a great or extremely good cricketer, but considering he has played in the worse international side all his career I would hardly call him a hack or a dud

Much worse international cricketers around

In fact even Watson and Michael Clarke don't average 30 over all forms of the game

Lol a wide of a ball that smashed the batsmens thigh pad and went to wear a leg slip would have been

Afridi asks for a review lol

He then gives Afridi a wicket next ball which the batsmen misses by a mile

OK, not a dud but a huge under achiever. To me he epitomises what's been wrong with WIndies cricket for years. Talent to burn, but wastes it by not having a heart or giving a rats in 80% of his performances. How the diamond studs look is seemingly more important.

Anyway, back to the match, I thought Steve Bucknor was back on deck after that wide decision.

Totally agree, great call

He very much reflects West Indian cricket

I just hope the young batsmen coming through in the West Indian test team down go down the same path

Darren Bravo is slightly heading that way

Good to see Darren Bravo back in the runs

Has had a bit of time off recently due to 'personal reasons'

Seems to be the one West Indian that can really knuckle down and understands game situations

Still only 26 could be a future test superstar

Windies closing out their innings with a wet sail ... who knows what the Pakis will do with the bat.
