Getting way out of hand the idea you have to give the MOTM to someone from the winning side. Chandimal get a hundred, scores at a faster rate and plays a lone hand. Don't get me wrong, Bailey played well, but his innings was clearly inferior.

Crash Craddock on the radio this morning said Zampa should have been picked before Holland 10 times out of 10. Shocking decision

Zampa got 1 wicket from a full toss, another from a half tracker on its way down last night. Bowled well, but Not ready for test cricket. He's a semi good season away from deserving it.

He needs a 25+ wicket Sheffield Shield season this summer.

Given he is in the White ball national teams that is not going to be easy.....

I actually don't mind they played Holland. He was never in for a long term fix, get us through the tour and Seeya later.
If Zampa had played and been destroyed, confidence shattered, ,it's questionable if he would have been able to return as the long term option I'm sure cricket Australia have him penciled in for, regarding he performs at Shield level.

4th ODI on tonight, SL won the toss and batted, currently 2/19 after 6.4 overs. Mitch Starc again got an early break through in the first over of the match.

Into the Australian 11- Khawaja and Boland (FFS he's no good!). They come in for Shaun Marsh who has a broken finger and Hazlewood is rested.

Australia win by 6 wickets to claim the series.

SL 212 from 50 overs
Hastings 6/45 from his 10 overs.

AUS 4/217 from 31 overs
Bailey 90 not out (85)
Head 40 (60)
Finch 55 (19)

Outstanding performance from Hastings, that's the second best figures by an Australian against SL in an ODI. Finch is in some super form and so is Bailey. Great for Trav to get some runs.
