Why hasn't Ahmed been given a chance? Did anyone see his wrong-un the other night that took off off stump? Beautiful delivery.

Warner
Finch
Watson
Smith (c)
Bailey (vc)
Maxwell
Wade
Faulkner
Johnson
Cummins
Doherty

Hopefully pup gets up, tough decision on who misses out. There needs to be 6 bowlers minimum to share the load. I do not include Smith as a bowler.

Yeah, lets pick a guy who retired from international cricket 6 years ago. I would like to see Lyon playing but I don't think he will get picked.

If available I'd take Hogg anyday over Doherty.

Brad Hogg is 6th on our all-time ODI wickets list and in terms of spinners 2nd best ever behind only Warnie.

The last time he played international cricket was 2012 T20 World Cup.

It is easy to get carried away with 4 over bowling. In the T20 game batsman are looking to hit as many balls to the boundary as possible.

In 10 over cricket there is still the need to pick off a boundary an over, but the batsman dont need to be as aggressive. Because of this i don't think Hogg would be anywhere near as effective.

But is he better than Doherty?
Which Williams sister would you sleep with?
I'd go with neither.

What's with all the X hate. He is very effective in one day cricketer. Probably not at his best so far this summer but I didn't actually see any of the amazing domestic one day series that CA put on last October/November.

No hate for Xavier. Just no love.

Put it this way.
Maxwell ODI career: 36 Matches, 23 wickets @ 41.13

If we are going to play a spinner we might as well use him and hope he can make a run somewhere too.

Now excuse me why i go and vomit in my mouth...

My Squad

A.Finch
D.Warner
S.Watson
S.Smith
M.Clarke
M.Marsh
M.Wade
J.Faulkner
M.Johnson
J.Hazlewood
N.Lyon

G.Maxwell, G.Bailey, R.Harris, M.Starc

If Clarke isn't fit the Bailey would go into the team and S.Marsh into the squad.

I think the selectors will pick Coulter-Nile instead of Harris.

Besides the fact i dont rate Coulter-Nile, he has been injuried and might only just play the next big bash game. He is well behind Cummins, Pattinson, Bernandorf

Didn't realise he was injured. I don't rate him either just thinking if he was fit the selectors seem to like him and he'd be in their squad.

Maxwell and M Marsh interchangeable depending on opponent/wicket/form.
I don't like Maxwell but think he still has match winning ability.

Not at the moment, the Windies are currently playing a 3 game T20 series against the Saffers

Clarke could be out of the World Cup squad if the statement Nicholas read is correct.
CA statement said the world cup squad will be announced today and the same squad will be the squad for the one day series v India.

He is doing 6 hours a day rehab and running so I think he will be included.
