Gone off to hospital now after getting treatment on boundary. Will take tea now but I doubt both sides would want to continue.....

The chopper landed on the ground and took him to hospital. Nasty, hope all is ok for him in the coming days.

From News reporter Ben Horne at the SCG
Hughes' mother and sister were present in the crowd when Hughes was injured.

He's been taken to St Vincent's Hospital.

A Cricket Australia spokesperson said the health and safety of Hughes was paramount and there would be no update on his condition at this stage.

NSW team doctor John Orchard has accompanied Hughes to hospital and will provide an update when appropriate.

Slightly positive that he improved a small amount before being taken to hospital.

Feel very ill at present and don't really feel like training tonight...

Yep Heater, I couldnt be any less motivated for training tonight.

Could this see a rule change, in regards to bumpers? didnt one of the NSW blokes get stretchered off last match after being hit?

Whilst a horrible thing you cant ban the bouncer, was just an unfortunate incident
