5 off 12 needed. 31 years since Zimbabwe have beaten Australia
ALL OVER Hit out of the park finishes Australia off.
Thats what happens when you rotate players.

Spot on Jimbo

IN
Waller
Tiripano

OUT
Mutumbami
Panyangara

Those were the changes Zimbabwe made from game 1 when they lost to Australia

Mitch Marsh teeing off.
Took 21 off Wank Steyn's last over with 3 consecutive zaks and is flaying McLaren now.

Me either Benny, I'm both surprised and encouraged by how Marsh has come on like this. Creates selection headaches where any small patches if bad form could see a bloke dropped, eg. Bailey. If Marsh gets better and better he might not only replace Watson long term but short term aswell, perhaps forcing Watto out of the side.

Bailey has been our best one day batter for 2 seasons. Try Hughes or Smith

i was already assuming we had watson, warner and clarke to come back into the batting lineup come world cup time, making way for hughes, smith, and someone else.

Clarke for all his great attributes is becoming a bigger liability than Watto. Plays one misses 4-5. I think even he realises his body isnt up to it. Hate to say it but its nearly time for CA to tell him to give up the hit and giggle stuff and play tests only. That might enable him to prolong his career a few years

well he only really came back to ODIs for this years world cup imo. he wouldnt be playing them otherwise.

he is still our best batsman and if he can get fit for the world cup i think it is worth it, but i dont see him continuing after that

Trouble is I wouldnt count on him making it through a WC, likely to break down mid tournament.
