I was very impressed with Al Hasan in the BBL both this year and last.

Warner and Finch are probably the best two openers when on song but they've lacked consistency lately.

How can you say that Amla is better than Warner?? Are you for real??

2014
Amla 892 runs @ 52.47 with an 81 strike rate.
Warner 406 runs @ 40.6 with a 94 strike rate.

I am for real, Amla is harder to get out, Warner is not even ranked in the top 25 with the ICC.

I simply stated my current world XI in the ODI format, Warner is a gun but doesn't get consistent big scores. Amla and his beard score well consistently.

I didn't realise how impressive Angelo Matthews record was...........wow.

Scored 1244 @ 65 with and struck at a tad under 90.

So you're picking the World XI based on records and not on current form leading into the World CUP (and I mean both forms of cricket - 50/50 & test)?

It's a follow up from a question asked the other day, this is a World Cup thread so I've based it on ODI's and current form. I'm not implying that I'm right, I'm just expressing my opinion.

If this is what the English are going to be bringing to the Ashes Series, you could almost feel confident in the Aussies beating them in England too.

If McCullum stays in, try inside 10 overs. 300 S/R at the minute.

Lightning, all good mate. Just asking a question. Because I would have Warner there instead of Amla.

At least he has some balls and bats well in Australia.

McCullum??? F*$k off lol. We don't need him firing and getting confidence. Who in our bowling attack does he fear the most?
