Interestingly they are suggesting SA Health might increase capacity. Is this just false hope or are they really going to try and shuffle everyone after they have already been allocated their tickets???

What time were you on there Trader? I was on 11-11.30 for the same days and was only offered outer seating.

I logged in at 9:55am and waited for it to open at 10.
10:03, 10:05 and 10:06 my ticket confirmation emails arrived.

I wanted to make sure I avoided looking into the afternoon sun in late december.

Kohli needs 23 runs to get to the 12,000 mark in ODIs. If he gets there on Wednesday, he will have reached the landmark in 242 innings. Sachin Tendulkar, the previous quickest to the mark, got there in 300 innings.

Can't stand the guy cause he isn't on our team. Also pads his stats with nothing games against minnow asian countries on absolute roads at tiny stadiums.

All that said, that is an amazing stat. Pure dominance.

Gee this line must be rife in Australia, he gets an absolute bollocking on social media but if he was an Aussie we'd be pushing for knighthood already.

To dominate at all three levels is amazing.

Taking your comment into consideration I just looked at his ODI batting career summary to see how the stats compare.
He has made 4865 runs at home @60.81 with 19 hundreds and 23 fifties.
4994 runs away @58.06 with 20 hundreds and 22 fifties.
Netural 2218 runs @58.83 with 4 hundreds and 14 fifties.
6734 runs in Asia @60.66 with 28 hundreds and 28 fifties.
He has 9 ODI hundreds against the West Indies (4 in the Windies) and 8 against Australia (5 in Aus) and Sri Lanka (4 in SL). He also has 5 hundreds in Bangladesh.
After India he has scored his second and third most ODI runs in England (1316 @54.83) and Australia (1242 @50.56).

Not sure this line is as relevant these days as it was say 10yrs ago.

Each test nation is required to play a home and away series against the other test nations during a 10yr period or whatever it is.. the opportunity to fill your boots against the minnows are far less now.

Also countries like Afghanistan and Bangladesh are far improved than they used to be.

Kholi is a machine and deserves the title as best bat in the world at the moment.

I'd watch Kohli bat for two days before I watched Smith for a session.

Smith is freaky and unorthodox the way he bats, and very creative.. he’s quality.. but Kholi is pure and oozes class

Yeah, I guess I couldn't expect much more, but still thought I would have got into the members, perhaps right up the back. Interested to hear how others got on.

Bloody work

Early days I disliked Kohli but over time appreciate how good a cricketer he is .... why did I disliked him ? Arrogant , cocky , would toe the line to upset and mentally defeat an opposition ... jeez all the traits we Australians grew up with ..... He is everything we want in a cricketer ...

Isn't it funny how we as Australian's love being the bully, puffing the chest out and standing over others.. but when it happens to us everyone cries.

I'm trying to get myself in on day 3 still. Once I sort that out then I'll start to worry about others!

Surely your media connections can sort you out????
