So the Poms have pulled back a bit on the full bore attack of bazball even if they are going 5 an over.
Controlled attacking and we have no answers at the minute

Poms 9/389
Lost 5/47

So bazball is effective and sustainable against the number one team in the world.

And still going to finish the series empty handed.
We would beat them 4-0 over here and the only the crap Sydney weather would prevent it being a whitewash

It will be interesting to see how it goes in India and also wheb they come done to Australia.

It looks like it has been effective, they have batted well so far.

I don’t know you could make a case aussie pitches will suit bazball more

The ball is definitely in Australia’s half of the court to find a method to bowl against the attacking style.

India is going to be intriguing.

Not sure how that could go. Often batsmen become sitting ducks in India getting lbw or inside edges to close fielders. That won’t happen with this English side that’s for sure.

I recall some time ago when England last won in India, it was actually the attacking style thst did the trick. I recall Kevin Pieterson playing well in that series.

Definitely going to be an interesting series.

Fair career by Broad. Could have kept going in my opinion as he has been bowling well but obviously he knows how his body is going.
