That is true but its usually Melbourne who cops the bad weather tag, id guess Melbourne would hold similar ammounts to Sydney.
No surprise Brisbane is up there though

It's always bloody raining and Brisbane cricket fans are voting with their feet. It's time for CA to do a rethink on the schedule and start scheduling games at Ethiad, Cairns and Brisbane during Winter, possibly against South Africa who we have parallel seasons with. It pisses down in Brisvegas every November and rain is a fairly constant companion during the 'Summer' months.

Etihad's surface in the middle of winter would make it a no go. Grass cut at different lengths and the outfield is rolled during cricket season making it too firm for footy.

Also the fact that it is a footy stadium in winter...

You could play at Allan border field in Brisbane in the winter. Especially if it was a smaller drawing team

England with a pretty comfortable run chase to send the sooks out if the tri-series.

It might be harder for Wato and Pup to get into this team than some people think. The obvious swaps I guess are MMarsh and Bailey so fair to say those two will be real keen on having big games and be part of a winning team today.

What on earth does England see in Chris Woakes?
If he’s in their best One-Day 11 it’s no wonder they’re struggling.

Chris Jordan is a very good quick bowler and I can’t see why he hasn’t been playing.
He came on as a sub fielder in last Friday’s game against India so he can’t be injured.

Always down to the same thing with so many sides. They pick bowlers for their batting and batsmen for their bowling. Bopara's made an entire international career from England's all rounder obsession.

Woakes does though have a very good first class bowling record, so perhaps they think that ability will eventually translate but right now, Jordan seems the better one day bowling option.

Is form of late has been so bad that in fact that score in the BB4 was his only score for a while.

Hmm. Not sure you understood my point. Stokes is another bowler who was picked for his batting and got shown up. One hit in T20 doesn't make him an international batsman. Even with that ton against us, he averages 25 in tests.
